Adding brand colors and a logo without crowding the attendee name
Place your logo in a corner or header and reserve the largest type for the attendee name, using a single brand color alongside the group accent. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo, keep strong contrast behind text and test dark backgrounds before printing a full batch.
How this differs from a name badge template in Word, Google Docs or Canva

How to use this conference badge template
Choose the size before you design
Open the Size panel first: Avery 74459 for insert sheets, 3 x 4 for vertical holders, 4 x 6 for credentials or Avery 5395 for stickers, so the layout starts in the right shape.
Apply your logo and one brand color
Upload a PNG logo, set your brand color on the top band shape, and use a single font family such as Manrope for every text line.
Test the template with your longest names
Paste five lines as Name, Title, Company, Group, including your longest attendee name and company, then step through them to confirm auto-fit keeps each inside the badge.
Match the PDF to your stock
Print the outlines-only alignment sheet on plain paper, hold it over your insert or label sheet against a window, and nudge the offset in 1/32 inch steps before the real run.
Questions about this conference badge template
Which conference badge size fits standard clear lanyard holders?
Holders sold for 4 x 3 or 3 x 4 inch inserts are the most common at conferences, and both sizes print six per sheet here. Go by the insert size on the holder packaging rather than the holder's outside dimensions, since the pocket is what has to fit. Pouches made for 4 x 6 credentials need the 4 x 6 size, which prints two per sheet.
Is the Avery 74459 template different from the plain 4 x 3 template?
The badge is the same 4 x 3 landscape shape, six per sheet, in both. The Avery 74459 option uses that product's exact sheet margins so the print lines up with the perforations. The plain 4 x 3 option centers the badges with a small gap between them, which is easier to cut by hand from cardstock with the optional cut lines turned on.
Can I use my SVG logo on a conference badge template?
Not directly, because the logo upload accepts PNG, JPG or WebP files up to 8 MB. Open the SVG in a design tool and export a PNG with a transparent background, roughly 1,000 pixels wide. At that width a logo stays sharp when the badge prints from a vector PDF or a 300 DPI export.
Do these conference badge designs work in black and white?
They print fine in grayscale, but group accent colors turn into shades of gray that can look alike. If you print in black and white, set group label overrides in capitals such as SPEAKER or STAFF so the role reads from the text rather than the strip color, and keep the name in solid black for contrast.
Can I change the conference template layout or only its text?
You can change everything on the canvas: move or resize text, swap fonts, add rectangles or ellipses for color bands, adjust corner radius, set a background color or image, and replace the logo.
