Keep your guest list and images on your device. Your browser handles names, spreadsheets, photos and logos locally, so you can prepare badges without uploading your attendee list or artwork.
What stays on your device
- Spreadsheets are parsed in the browser, and the list stays on this device.
- Logos are re-encoded locally, which also strips hidden photo metadata.
- Your design autosaves to this browser's storage, not to the cloud.
- PDF and PNG files are generated on your computer when you export.
Your design is saved in this browser's storage so you can come back to it. Clearing your browser data, or switching to another browser or computer, makes that saved copy unavailable there, so export a design file to back up the layout and names, and keep your original images separately because design files do not include them.
Email addresses
You can use the editor, import a CSV and download your badges without providing an email address or creating an account. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include in your message.
Usage measurement
We use Google Analytics to measure visits and page usage, with analytics storage and advertising consent set to denied. Google receives cookieless measurement requests and technical connection information, including your IP address and browser details. Our page-view events exclude URL query strings, attendee lists, artwork and design contents, and advertising personalization is disabled. Google describes its handling of information in its privacy policy.
Server logs
Like most websites, the servers that deliver these pages may record standard technical details about each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure. The editor does not upload your badge designs, lists or logos; avoid putting private information in page URLs or support messages.
Other services
The README badge generator shows live previews of the badges you build. Badge previews load from shields.io, which receives your IP address and the badge text you enter. Previews wait until you pause typing, and no other page on this site loads anything from shields.io. Links to other sites, such as Sport Scheduler Pro, are covered by those sites' own policies.
